Track and Field Coalition USA (TFCUSA) was founded on the belief that there was a need for transformation of Track &Field and Cross Country competition that had never transpired before. Led by Coach Thomas, who envisioned its progression towards affable competition in order to build future leaders, TFCUSA strives to promote unity through athletic fundamentals that will encourage self-confidence, pride, and excitement of accomplishment to young people from all parts of the country.

Herb became involved with the sport of track and field as a student-athlete at both Hughes Quinn Junior High School and Lincoln Senior High School in E. St. Louis, Illinois. After graduating high school, Herb left home to attend college on a wrestling scholarship prior to joining the United States Navy. Upon transfer with the Navy to the San Francisco Bay area in California in 2006, he took a job working as an assistant track & field coach at Jesse Bethel High School in Vallejo, California. During his time at Jesse Bethel High School, he successfully coached the first-ever female Solano County Athletic Conference (SCAC) 800-meter track league champion. Upon leaving the coaching job at Jesse Bethel in 2008, Herb accepted a position as the Sprints, Jumps and Hurdles coach at Mills College in Oakland, California where all his collegiate scholar-athletes became very successful in setting both personal and season best records in multiple events.

I Believe in coaching the whole athlete. I believe that running is just as much mental as it is physical. The mind is a powerful tool and when trained properly you can accomplish anything. I have been involved in Track & Field for over 12 years and my expertise is derived from personal experiences as a  athlete and exposure to world-class coaches. My resume includes youth, high school, and private coaching.

As a  athletes, some of my accomplishments include city, county, and state championship finalist., Meet of Champion, current high school record holder, 

University Of Central Florida women Jumps Coach. USATF Level I Certified Coach , and a Certified Florida High school Coach. I coach novice to master's athletes, focusing on technique, speed, and agility. As a youth club founder, I have coached over 35 athletes whom qualified for AAU Junior Olympics,. As a high school sprint, jumps, and hurdle coach, I have coached numerous county, region, and state champions, many have received scholarships to NCAA Division I & II schools. And, as a private coach I have assisted several athletes in accomplishing their goal of becoming a state champion, National champions. world champion medalist, .  CPR certified.

Started running cross country and track in 1969 for Banks High School in Birmingham, Alabama. His best time in high school for 2 miles on the track was 11:03. His best time in college for 3 miles on the track was 16:11. After graduating from Jacksonville State University in 1976, He took up road racing. His best road race times were 16:41 for the 5K, 34:33 for the 10K, 54:25 for the 15K and 1:22:15 for the half marathon.
Since graduating from college, He have assisted with almost every Jacksonville State University home track and field and cross country meet. He also has done the same for Jacksonville High School. Also,  served as assistant track and cross country coach from 2000-2016. Frank is coaching with the Alabama Striders since January 2001. Also  directed and assisted with many road races for the Anniston Runners Club and other organizations.
